  1. Some knowledge from my time at APSU was helpful in our Lafayette experience, such as leadership and teamwork skills, but the majority of the abilities we used to contribute to the project were learned on site. The way our team came together to learn new things and perform whatever task necessary to help the people suffering from floods was truly remarkable.
  2. Upon reflection of our service experience, I am humbled and inspired by our teamwork and efforts in assisting those in need. I believe our time spent on this project helped me to develop personally by enhancing my heart for service, and preparing me for the goals I hope to accomplish as a doctor. I also created many long-lasting friendships and memories during this experience that I’ll always be thankful for both during my time in college and in life after!
