Loreli McCole – Fall 2015 Post Reflection (Chattanooga)

Chattanooga was amazing in some ways. The volunteer work was incredible. I love walking down the trail to the creek and finding a turtle skull.

I don’t think i used many skill from my time at APSU. I’m a freshman so I’ve only been going to school here a few months. I did learn that I am a leader and don’t have a problem taking charge of a situation when it’s needed. I also learned that camping without padding under my sleeping bag isn’t going to allow me to work hard the next day.

I also learned how much I want to lead a trip and see the different areas. I loved being able to help the Audubon Society with their haunted forest. I want to go back and actually run through the forest while they are having the haunt. The blacklight maze looked amazing and would be even more so after they turn the lights on in the dark.
