I am Jessica, a sophomore at APSU. I major in physics and minor in mathematics. I have always loved mathematics; I actually find working most problems fun and soothing. I do not know how I will use my studies to help the community, but this is a major goal of mine. I am especially angered about the amount of people worldwide who do not have access to the basic rights of clean water, sufficient food, a concrete floor, and a tin roof. Therefore, I hope for this to be my focus in the future. The skill sets I have that can be used to help others are my problem solving skills, my knowledge, and my care. I am looking forward to this Fall Alternative Break Trip to Georgia to help with trial maintenance because I will gain more applicable knowledge about building.
